Walking

Our camping is situated in the middle of the Gasteiner valley. Right from the camping you can go for wonderful walks along the ‘Aache’ or around the golf course. There are also some easier walks a bit higher up. For example the ‘Gasteiner Höhenweg’a very romantic path in the Angervalley. Even on the 1600m high situated Sportgastein you can go for a flat walk One can use these walking ways in winter and the paths are also very suitable for ‘Nordic Walking’ which is very popular here. For those who prefer mountaneering there are many possibilities from easy to very difficult. All walks are signposted.

Cycling

From the entrance of the Gasteiner valley to our camping place, which is about 15 km, there are various cycle paths. You can cycle along the Aache to Bad Hofgastein where you can enjoy a real apfelstudel on one of the fancy terraces.

Golf

From the camping you can walk to a 18 hole golf course. The terrain lies naturally at the foot of the Gasteiner mountains. A nice variety between hilly and flat terrain. www.golfclub-gastein.com

Gastein Thermae

For centuries the Gastener valley has been famous for its wholesome springs. The water of these springs fill the numerous baths of Alpen Therme Gastein / Felsentherme .
