About us

We would like to introduce ourselves. Since November 2005 we are the happy owners of Kur-camping and the appartmenthouse Erlengrund in Bad Gastein; situated in the Salzburgerland, between the Großglockner and the Hohe Tauern in one of the most beuatiful valleys of Austria.
A dream has been realized. For 16 years we have visited this fantastic valley. Grandpa, Jan and our two sons have been skiing many kilometres here and Maja has taken health spa cures all those years. Therefor we really feel at home here.
We have been camping for more than 30 years, so we do know what is important for a nice stay.We will do our very best to make you feel comfortable and we like to hear from you if anything can be improved.
After all these years we know the valley very well , so if you have any questions about walks, wintersports, swimming pools or anything else, please ask.
If you are interested in health spa cures, Maja can give you all necessary information. Maja can also help you out in case you do not speak german.

How to get there:

From the north: Take the A10 Tauernautobahn until the Bischofshofen exit, then continue on the B158 Salzachtal national route until the turn for Gasteinertal. Continue on the Gastein national route until the turn for Bad Bruck (Badesee).
From the south: On the A10 take the exit Mallnitz-Obervellach – continue on the national route until the Tauernschleuse – from Böckstein take the national route 167 until the turn for Bad Bruck (Badesee).
